This recipe for hemp porridge is also often called “Kuzmich” in the common people. For cooking, you need a frying pan with thick walls, preferably cast iron. Pre-chopped buds or leaves must be placed in a well-heated frying pan, add oil (sunflower oil works well) and fry over low heat for 30 minutes. It is extremely important to constantly stir the porridge every few minutes so that it does not burn. After half an hour, you can gradually add powdered sugar into the pan, the caramelization process will begin. After another half hour, the porridge acquires a light brown color (it is important not to overcook it) and begins to crunch, resembling kozinak or muesli. Frying times can vary depending on the conditions and the amount of raw materials, so the process must be treated intuitively and carefully. It is recommended to consume the resulting product in small quantities to understand your own optimal dosage.
